Hurdang starring Sunny Kaushal, Nushrratt Bharuccha & Vijay Varma among others released in theatres on April 8. The film has not opened to good reviews. LatestLY’s Sreeju Sudhakaran says, “In the closing moments of Nikhil Nagesh Bhat directorial Hurdang, a character in a voiceover says that it is reservations that brought about the biggest divide in the country.” Hurdang is both a political drama and a love story, set in 1990 in Allahabad. Sudhakaran says, “While Vijay Varma, Sunny Kaushal and Nushrratt Bharuccha are good in their roles, none of their characters manages to evince interest.” Watch the video to know more.
