On May 18, the Supreme Court of India granted bail to Indrani Mukerjea. The former media executive has been accused of killing her daughter 25-year-old Sheena Bora. As reported by NDTV, the Supreme Court said, “We are granting bail to Indrani Mukerjea. 6.5 years is too long a time.” Indrani Mukerjea faces trial in the 2012 murder of her daughter. Indrani’s husband Peter Mukerjea was also arrested months after Indrani on charges of helping her. He was granted bail in 2020. Watch the video to know more.
