International Travellers Flying Into Maharashtra Airports From 'At-Risk Countries' To Undergo Mandatory Institutional Quarantine | Guidelines

On November 30, the Maharashtra government said all international passengers arriving from ‘at-risk countries' will have to undergo mandatory institutional quarantine. The mandatory institutional quarantine will be of seven days. The order states that passengers who test positive will be sent to a hospital. Passengers who test negative will have to undergo an additional seven days of home quarantine. Omicron, is a new strain of Covid-19 that has been designated as a variant of concern. Domestic passengers travelling within Maharashtra will either have to be fully vaccinated or they will have to carry an RT-PCR test report conducted within 48 hours of the time of arrival. Domestic passengers from other states to Maharashtra will have to carry a negative RT-PCR test report conducted within 48 hours of arrival.
