Karnataka will vote on May 10 to elect a new government in the state, the Election Commission announced on March 29. Counting of votes for the 224 seat legislative assembly will be done on May 13. Results will also be declared on May 13. BJP, Congress and Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) will lock horns to win this battle. The state is currently run by the BJP led by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
