June is celebrated as 'Men's Health Month' across the globe. International Men's Health Week was announced at the second world meet by the World Congress on Men's Health in Vienna, Austria in 2002, reported NDTV. This week was initiated by six leading organisations that work on men's health. Men's Health Week was commemorated as a step towards raising awareness of the global problems revolving around the overall health and wellbeing of men and boys.
