CryptoAugust 26, 2019 marks the 109th birth anniversary of Mother Teresa. Several nuns gathered at Mother House in Kolkata to pay tribute to the social worker. Born in a family of ethnic Albanians in Skopje in 1910, Mother Teresa left her home at the age of 18 and later joined the "Sisters of Loreto" located in Ireland's Rathfarnham. Mother Teresa refused to accept the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979, instead she urged the jury to contribute the prize money of USD 192,000 for helping the poor of India. Mother Teresa received the Bharat Ratna in 1980.
