The 69th National Awards were announced on August 24. Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon won the Best Actress Award for their performances in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi respectively. The Best Actor award was won by Allu Arjun for his performance in Pushpa: The Rise. Pankaj Tripathi won the Best Supporting Actor award for Mimi.
