The Central government has announced some measures to provide relief to the poorest in the country. Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman held a press briefing to announce measures ranging from an increase in the per/day payment given to MNREGA workers to allowing withdrawals from EPF accounts for up to 3 months.
