The Year 2020 marks the 36th anniversary of the Operation Blue Star on June 3. The Indian Army carried out the Operation Blue Star to remove Sikh Extremists led by Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale from the Golden Temple. The Operation was carried out between June 3 and June 8. The actual operation was started on June 5.
