Maria Teresa, Princess from the House of Bourbon-Parma of Spain has died due to COVID-19. In a Facebook post, her family informed that 86-year-old Princess Maria, who belonged to the Cadet branch of the Spanish Royal family died on Thursday, March 26 and the funeral was held on Friday, March 27. She becomes the first known royal to have succumbed due to the COVID-19 infection. In recent days, Charles, Prince of Wales too was found positive to the Coronavirus.
