On December 5, Priyanka Chaturvedi, Shiv Sena MP, stepped down as an anchor for a show on Sansad TV channel. This comes in protest over the suspension of 12 MPs from the Rajya Sabha. Chaturvedi is also part of the 12 suspended MPs. Priyanka Chaturvedi tweeted, “It is with anguish that I step down as anchor of Sansad TV.” Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has also decided to stop hosting a talk show on Sansad TV.
