The Union Territory of Puducherry went to polls after the state assembly saw political drama with the Congress government being toppled months before the election date. The Congress party then did not give a ticket to V. Narayanasamy, choosing to go with a new set of faces. However, this strategy seems to have not worked with voters as NDA which comprises of All India N R Congress led by N Rangaswamy, the BJP and the AIADMK is set to sweep Puducherry.
