Raksha Bandhan 2024 Wishes: PM Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Amit Shah, Mallikarjun Kharge, Yogi Adityanath and Others Extend Greetings on Festival Celebrating Brother-Sister Bond

August 19, 2024 marks Raksha Bandhan. The festival celebrates the bond between sisters and brothers. Sisters tie rakhis to their brothers during this festival. Brothers promise to take care of their sisters always and give them gifts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings on the special occasion. President Droupadi Murmu extended greetings on the special occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Lok Sabha LoP and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi shared a couple of unseen childhood pictures of himself with his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on this special occasion. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended greetings. LoP in Rajya Sabha and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, “We hope that this festival of Rakhi will strengthen the relationships of love, harmony, unity and mutual goodwill in the lives of all the countrymen.” Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath also extended heartfelt wishes.
