Russia Targets Kyiv Even As UN Chief Antonio Guterres Visits Ukrainian Capital

On April 28 evening, Russia targeted Kyiv even as UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres visited the Ukrainian capital. No immediate information about casualties from the strikes was known. As per an AFP report, a close aide to the UN chief sent a message to journalists confirming they were safe. Guterres shared a picture from Ukraine and wrote, “War is evil.” Russian President Vladimir Putin launched a military operation in Ukraine on February 24. Thousands of people have been killed in this deadly war. Millions have fled the country which has been completely destroyed due to the war. Watch the video to know more.
