Shehnaz Treasurywala Reveals She Has Prosopagnosia, Says She Can’t Recognise Faces

Former MTV VJ and Bollywood actor Shenaz Treasury shared on her Instagram Stories, that she has been diagnosed with prosopagnosia. The disorder is a cognitive condition that disables her from physically recognising physical features such as people’s faces, heights, hairstyle. She added, “You have difficulty recognising neighbours, friends, coworkers, clients, schoolmates. People you know expect you to recognise them. Failing to recognise someone might make you seem aloof. Many sufferers report losing friends and offending coworkers because they have failed to recognise them. This is me.”
