The post highlighted how thousands of men came out on the streets of Bengaluru to celebrate Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) victory at the Women's Premier League and not women. The tweet read, "A team of women won a tournament, but not a single woman on the street to celebrate. A quintessential moment of patriarchy in India.” After his name was linked with the post, Siddharth denied any association with it.
