Utpanna Ekadashi is observed by the devotees after Poornima (Full Moon Day), in the month of Karthik, as per the Hindu calendar. Utpanna Ekadashi falls after Devutthana Ekadashi. The occasion is considered to be very important as it is attributed to the origin of Ekadashi itself.
