Music composer Wajid Khan of the popular composer duo Sajid-Wajid died at a Mumbai hospital in the wee hours of June 1. The musician who worked on Salman Khan's films such as "Wanted", "Dabangg" and "Ek Tha Tiger" was 42 when he breathed his last. Reportedly, Wajid died due to complications from kidney infection. Certain reports also suggest that he had recently tested positive for coronavirus. Music composer Salim Merchant confirmed the news of Wajid's death. Reportedly, his mortal remains have been laid to rest beside late actor Irrfan Khan at the Versova cemetery. A teary-eyed Sajid Khan can be seen in the pictures. Bollywood took to social media to express grief. Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan and many others from the film fraternity remembered Wajid Khan for the great work he has left behind. It’s a great loss for the music industry the singer-composer duo delivered major hits ‘Soni De Nakhre’, ‘Hud Hud Dabangg among many hits. Sonu Nigam, Vishal Dadlani, Shankar Mahadevan, Adnan Sami, Harshdeep Kaur, Sachin-Jigar, Palak Muchchal and many others offered their condolences. Sajid-Wajid made their debut as composers, creating music for Salman Khan's film Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya in 1998. They worked on the Dabangg series, Partner and Welcome, Chori Chori, Hello Brother, Wanted and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi among others. Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya and his actor wife Natasa Stankovic are expecting their first child together. They made the announcement on social media.
