Mumbai, December 18: The Tokyo police recently arrested a 39-year-old man identified as Yohei Ono, his wife Haruka (28), and his common-law wife Rin (23) for secretly filming his sexual intercourse with another woman in her 20s. The trio later posted the video on a video-sharing website. While the trio were arrested on Tuesday, December 16, cops found that Rin, Ono's common-law wife, is also his adopted daughter. Police also learnt that the three lived together like a polygamous family.

According to a report in the Japan Times, the trio made a living by selling the secretly filmed videos. During the police raid, cops found over 800 sexual videos featuring nearly 100 women at their home. As per the investigation, it is suspected that Ono, Haruka and Rin conspired to secretly film sexual acts between Ono and the woman, who is said to be in her 20s, in July last year. The probe also revealed that the trio set up cameras in the hotel room in the Kabukicho nightlife district of Tokyo's Shinjuku Ward. Japan Shocker: Man Arrested for Drugging and Raping Female Passenger; Police Recover 3,000 Videos Suggesting Sex Assault of Up to 50 Women Since 2008.

Officials said that Ono and the woman in her 20s came to know each other through social media. After the sexual acts were over, Haruka and Rin reportedly stormed into the room and demanded ¥3 million in consolation money from the victim. Cops believe the trio later provided the secretly filmed video to other individuals through an online video platform called "myfans" and continued to engage in the scheme since 2022. As per the report, Ono is facing additional charges due to an arrest by Tokyo's Metropolitan Police Department.

On November 26, Ono was arrested after he allegedly confined a woman under 20 for about two months in a Shinjuku Ward condominium. In the said case, cops found that the confined woman also met Ono through social media. Over time, the accused turned violent and forced the woman to live with him. Cops said the accused also threatened to kill the woman if she fled. However, the victim managed to escape and immediately sought police help. The police have seized 37 smartphones, three notebook computers, handcuffs, collars, and a stun gun from the confinement site. Japan Shocker: Man Hides Spy Cameras in Fake Rocks, Secretly Films 1,000 Women Bathing in Hot Springs; Jailed for 2 Years.
