Kathmandu, November 27: In a tragic incident, over 16 people died after a bus fell off a road in Arghakhanchi district of Nepal. The authorities reached the spot after receiving the information. Several people were also injured in the mishap. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital. The rescue operations are underway. Earlier this month also, 16 people were killed after a bus, en route Kathmandu from the Maga Deurali area of Dolakha village in Nepal skidded off Araniko highway in Sindhupalchowk district. Several others were injured in the accident.

Last month, 11 people also lost their lives after an overloaded bus plunged down a hill in central Nepal. Over 100 people were also injured in the mishap. The packed bus was ferrying passengers -- who had been celebrating the Hindu festival of Dashain -- from Sindhupalchowk to neighbouring Kathmandu.
