Bozova, November 21: A prank went terribly wrong after a 15-year-old apprentice, Muhammed Kendirci, was allegedly overpowered by coworkers at a carpentry workshop in Bozova, Turkey. The attackers tied his hands, forcibly removed his trousers, and inserted a high-pressure air hose into his rectum, causing severe internal injuries. Kendirci was rushed to multiple hospitals, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on November 19.

According to The New York Post report, the incident occurred at a woodworking centre in Sanlıurfa Province on November 14, when Kendirci was reportedly restrained by fellow apprentice Habip Aksoy and another unidentified accomplice. The attackers allegedly carried out the act as a so-called “prank,” but the result was catastrophic, leaving the young apprentice with life-threatening internal damage. Medical teams rushed Kendirci first to Bozova Mehmet Enver Yildirim State Hospital and later to Balikligol State Hospital before transferring him to Harran University Research and Application Hospital for intensive care. Turkey Shocker: School Principal Forcibly Throws Autistic Student Down Stairs in Manisa, Fired and Arrested After CCTV Video Surfaces.

Investigators are also searching for the second suspect involved in the attack. The New York Post highlighted that such incidents involving high-pressure air hoses have previously caused fatal injuries worldwide, raising serious concerns about workplace safety and the misuse of industrial tools in hazardous pranks. Yusuf Dikec, Turkey Shooter Viral for Competing Without Special Gear and His Casual Style, Wins Gold at European Champions League 2025.
