Bozova, November 21: A prank went terribly wrong after a 15-year-old apprentice, Muhammed Kendirci, was allegedly overpowered by coworkers at a carpentry workshop in Bozova, Turkey. The attackers tied his hands, forcibly removed his trousers, and inserted a high-pressure air hose into his rectum, causing severe internal injuries. Kendirci was rushed to multiple hospitals, but despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on November 19.

According to The New York Post report, the incident occurred at a woodworking centre in Sanlıurfa Province on November 14, when Kendirci was reportedly restrained by fellow apprentice Habip Aksoy and another unidentified accomplice. The attackers allegedly carried out the act as a so-called “prank,” but the result was catastrophic, leaving the young apprentice with life-threatening internal damage. Authorities initially detained Aksoy, who was later released on probation, but a fresh detention warrant was issued following Kendirci’s death.
