Florida, July 11: A woman in Florida was recently arrested for allegedly killing a man in the US State. The woman identified as Journee McGrew (21) has been accused of murder by local authorities, who said that the woman allegedly killed a man with a metal hammer. Officials also said that after murdering the man, McGrew left a note on the deceased's chest which read, "PEDO Touches Children".

According to a report in People, the note on a white paper sheet was written in green highlighter. After the incident came to light, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office identified McGrew as a suspect in the murder. The deceased was later identified as Waduta Woodley (41). The alleged murder came to light on July 2 when officers found Woodley in a pool of blood behind a stairwell after they arrived at an apartment complex in Jacksonville. Cops said that the deceased had multiple blunt force injuries to his head and face. Later, an autopsy report confirmed that Woodley died "as a result of multiple chop injuries".

Officers said that blood was splattered on the walls and on the ground near the stairwell where the deceased was found and declared dead by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department. Cops also said that the suspect was found inside an apartment nearby. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office also said that a police officer found a pair of pink Croc slippers, a black tank top and a purple sweatpants, which were all covered in blood. They also recovered a pink notebook with a green highlighter from the crime scene. After her arrest, Journee was booked into a local jail the same day.
