Coimbatore, June 18 (PTI) Anti-naxal search operations are being conducted at Anaikatti on the Tamil Nadu-Kerala border near here following information about movement of a few ultras in the jungle area, police said today.
The armed anti-naxal squad from Kerala, with the help of Tamil Nadu police, was carrying out vehicle checks and searches in and Anaikatti, 30 kms from here, they said.
Intelligence reports had said the naxals were hiding in the forest area adjoining Tamil Nadu, police said.
