Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], Nov 15 (ANI): The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered a case of disproportionate assets against Vaidya Vara Prasad, Additional district judge of Ranga Reddy district court.

According to the Director General of the ACB, the Hyderabad High Court has received a complaint against Vaidya Vara Prasad on the basis of which a preliminary verification was conducted.

Following the verification, the Hyderabad High Court ordered ACB Telangana to register disproportionate assets case against the judge.

As part of the investigation, the ACB conducted searches at the residences of Prasad at Saroor Nagar, Kondapur. The agency also searched the residences of Prasad's associates at four places in Hyderabad, at three places in Sircilla and two places in Maharashtra.

Investigation in the matter is underway. Further details are awaited. (ANI)
