Guwahati (Assam) [India], September 20 (ANI): Director General Border Security Force Nitin Agrawal during his visit to BSF Guwahati frontier on Wednesday reviewed the current security scenario and operational preparedness on the Indo-Bangladesh international border.

The DG was briefed by Dinesh Kumar Yadav, IG BSF Guwahati Frontier and staff officers about operational preparedness and measures to combat various challenges along the Indo-Bangladesh border and discussed various remedies to control trans-border crimes.

The Director General interacted with BSF officers and troops here in Guwahati.

He also applauded the tireless efforts and dedication of bordermen in safeguarding the borders and efforts made by BSF Guwahati Frontier to control crime on the Indo-Bangladesh border.
