Bengaluru Urban (Karnataka) [India], October 7 (ANI): Four people were injured after a fire broke out at a firecracker shop in Karnataka's Attibele on Saturday, an official statement said.

According to the fire department officials, several fire tenders were rushed to douse the fire and it has been extinguished. The cause of the fire incident is yet to be ascertained.

"A fire broke out in a firecracker shop suddenly this afternoon. The shop was built right next to the highway. The firework shop was on fire in no time. The warehouse which was next to the firecracker shop also caught fire. The situation is under control," police said.

Fire department officials said that four people injured in this incident were immediately admitted to a local hospital for treatment.

According to the damage assessment done by the officials, seven two-wheelers, a container lorry, and three other vehicles were gutted in the fire.
