Man with 500 Kg Ganja Held
One person was arrested after over 500 kg of ganja was recovered from him during a search operation in the Kolkata railway station premises, police said Saturday.
Kolkata, Dec 15 (PTI) One person was arrested after over 500 kg of ganja was recovered from him during a search operation in the Kolkata railway station premises, police said Saturday.
The Kolkata Police STF also seized from 10 lakh from the person during the operation conducted late Friday night.
The arrested person was found sleeping behind in the driver's cabin of a truck, they said.
Policemen recovered 581.334 kg of ganja and Rs 10 lakh in cash from the person, a resident of Burdwan district. PTI
