Taking to their official Twitter handle, the club wrote, “We are assisting Leicestershire Police and the emergency services in dealing with a major incident at King Power Stadium. The Club will issue a more detailed statement once further information has been established.”Expressing grief over the incident, the Mayor of Leicester City took to Twitter and offered condolences to the club owners.“Dreadful news from @LCFC #KingPower Thoughts and prayers with all - particularly owners who’ve done so much for Club and our City #Leicester,” he tweeted.The mishap took place after Leicester City's match against Ham United in their Premier League Clash, which ended in a draw.
