Preity Zinta Donates INR 1.1 Crore From Punjab Kings’ CSR Fund to Army Widows and Their Families After Operation Sindoor, Says ‘Indebted to Them Forever’

Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has donate INR 1.10 crore for the welfare of Army widows and their children following India's 'Operation Sindoor' on Pakistan. The Punjab Kings owner made the contribution to the Army Wives Welfare Association (AWWA) as a part of her IPL team's CSR initiative.

"It is a responsibility to give back to the brave families of our armed forces. The sacrifices made by our soldiers can never truly be repaid, but we can stand by their families and support their journey forward," the release quoting her said. The contribution ceremony held in Jaipur was attended by the actor and AWWA members.
