Three school children drowned in a pond in Bihar's Madhubani district on Wednesday, police said.
Madhubani, Jul 31 (PTI) Three school children drowned in a pond in Bihar's Madhubani district on Wednesday, police said.
The three children had gone to take bath in a pond in Basaith village but slipped into the deep waters and met their watery grave, Benipatti Sub-Divisional Police Officer Pushkar Kumar said.
The bodies have been fished out from the pond with the help of local people, he said.
The Sub-Divisional Magistrate said that deceased's families would be given ex gratia as per the government's rules once the postmortem report is received.
