Tripura CM Stresses on Improving Quality of Art Work in State
Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Sunday emphasised on the need for quality art work in the state and said his government is working in this direction.
Agartala, Dec 23 (PTI) Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Sunday emphasised on the need for quality art work in the state and said his government is working in this direction.
The CM also inaugurated the North-East Regional Centre for Lalit Kala Akademi at Nazrul Kalkshetra here.
"Thirty years back, a centre of the Lalit Kala Academi was set up in Bhubaneswar in Orissa. Now, the North-East Regional Centre of Lalit Kala Akademi is going to be set up.
"In Tripura, the people are hungry for art, so we have decided to set up the Lalit Kala Akademi... and improve the quality of art productions," Deb said.
