Two Snakes Rescued in New Delhi: Wildlife SOS

A nearly five-foot-long rat snake was rescued after it entered a college in Raja Garden area here, Wildlife SOS Rapid Response Unit said Thursday.

New Delhi, Oct 11 (PTI) A nearly five-foot-long rat snake was rescued after it entered a college in Raja Garden area here, Wildlife SOS Rapid Response Unit said Thursday.

The snake is currently under observation and will soon be released back into the wild, it said.

Shortly after this, the team rescued another rat snake from a house in Jal Vihar Colony in Lajpat Nagar.

Both the snakes were kept under observation and will be released back into the wild once deemed fit, it said.
