Woman Attacked with Chemical over Property Dispute
A woman was allegedly attacked with a chemical by her relatives over a property dispute in outer Delhi's Mangolpuri, the police said today.
New Delhi, Jun 23 (PTI) A woman was allegedly attacked with a chemical by her relatives over a property dispute in outer Delhi's Mangolpuri, the police said today.
Yesterday, the police were informed that a woman had been attacked with acid. It was found that Shabnam had suffered light burn injuries on the left side of her face.
During inquiry, it was found that she has been attacked by a liquid chemical. She was attacked by Nazmeen, her husband Shamsuddin and her brothers Javed and Sona, police said. Nazmeen was arrested while police are on the lookout for the other accused.
Police said it turned out that the reason behind the attack was an old property dispute within the family.
