Maruti Suzuki is set to officially launch the comprehensive facelift for the Brezza in India today, marking a significant refresh four years after the introduction of the second-generation model. As one of the most popular vehicles in the subcompact SUV segment, the updated model arrives with subtle exterior styling tweaks and revisions designed to maintain its competitive edge.
The refreshed vehicle retains its signature boxy silhouette while introducing a slimmer front grille, reworked bumpers, and newly designed alloy wheels. As per a report by CarDekho, the release brings several upgrade features and specifications aimed at enhancing cabin comfort, technological convenience, and powertrain diversity for buyers. Maruti Brezza Specifications and Features
The Maruti Brezza facelift offers three powertrain options, starting with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with mild-hybrid tech that delivers 103 PS and 139 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, or 6-speed automatic transmission. A CNG variant utilizing the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine produces 88 PS and 121.5 Nm of torque with a 5-speed manual gearbox, featuring a new underbody tank arrangement to free up boot space.
Additionally, a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology produces 100 PS and 148 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Equipment upgrades include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and front parking sensors, alongside existing amenities like wireless smartphone integration, a single-pane sunroof, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, electronic stability control, and hill hold assist.
