BSA Motorcycles has launched two new Gold Star 650 variants in India: Birmingham Blue, priced at INR 3,56,000, and Brooklands Black Legacy Edition at INR 3,65,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The motorcycles retain the classic roadster silhouette of the standard model while introducing specialized visual treatments. BSA Gold Star 650 Specifications and Features
The BSA Gold Star 650 editions are powered by a 652cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine with four valves and twin spark plugs, producing 44 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 55 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a five-speed gearbox. The chassis is suspended by a 41mm telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers featuring five-step preload adjustment. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm front disc with a Brembo twin-piston floating calliper and a 255mm rear disc with a Brembo single-piston floating calliper, supported by dual-channel ABS.
The motorcycle rides on wire-spoke wheels with an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear setup. It has a wet weight of 201 kg, a wheelbase of 1,425mm, a seat height of 782mm, and a 12-litre fuel tank capacity. Additional equipment includes a dual-pod analogue instrument cluster with a digital inset and compatibility with official accessories such as windshield kits, luggage racks, and backrests.
