Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd, a popular two-wheeler manufacturing company officially announced the sales for its flagship 125cc scooter – Grazia which was launched last year in the domestic market. The new scooter from Honda 2Wheelers has surpassed more than 1 lakh sales figure in less than 5 months of its India launch. Touted as Advanced Urban scooter, the Honda Grazia has received an overwhelming response from the market with continuous increase in volumes each month.
Priced at Rs. 58,133 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Honda Grazia is offered in 6 colour options across 3 variants - Standard, Standard Alloy and Deluxe. Honda's flagship scooter measures 1812mm in length, 697mm in width, 766mm in seat height. The wheelbase and ground clearance of the scooter stands at 1260mm and 155mm respectively. The scooter sports fuel tank capacity of 5.3-litre along with kerb weight of 107kgs.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Honda Grazia comes powered by a Honda’s tried and tested 125 cc engine tuned to make maximum power of 8.52 bhp against the peak torque of 10.54 Nm. The motor comes mated to an automatic CVT gearbox.
The main underlines of the scooter are LED headlamp, fully digital instrumentation with tachometer and the 3 Step Eco-Speed Indicator, 4 in 1 lock with seat opener switch, smartphone charger, utility space dedicated for mobile phone, carved inner board panel, comfortable seating posture, sporty tail lamp, split grab rail, 3-tone head and premium black alloy wheels. The scooter also comes with telescopic suspension, alloy wheels and a combi-brake system, 18-litre under-seat storage and more. As far as the competition is concerned, the Honda Grazia scooter competes against the likes of Suzuki Access 125 and TVS NTorq 125 in the popular 125 cc segment space.
