Kia has unveiled the PV7, its second model in the company’s dedicated all-electric Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) range, at IAA Transportation 2026 in Germany. Positioned above the PV5, the new electric van will be offered in Passenger and Cargo versions, with two battery options and a claimed range of up to 460km. Kia has confirmed launches in South Korea and Europe in the second half of 2027, but has not yet announced an India launch date or India-specific pricing.

Kia PV7 India Launch Date
Kia has not announced a confirmed India launch timeline for the PV7. The electric van uses Kia's dedicated E-GMP.S architecture and an 800-volt electrical system. The Long Range Cargo version has a claimed WLTP range of more than 460km. Fast Charging Technology
The PV7's 800V architecture is designed to reduce charging time. Kia says the vehicle can charge from 10% to 80% in around 25 minutes using high-power DC charging. The van also gets dual charging ports, including a front AC/DC charging port and an optional rear-side AC charging port.
