Royal Enfield has launched the new Interceptor 65O and Continental GT 650 motorcycles at Rs. 2.5 lakh and 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom).

Royal Enfield 650 Twins are powered by a 648cc air-and oil-cooled parallel twin engine making 47.6 PS and 52Nm of power figures. The powertrain comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

 

 

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 gets 13.7 litre capacity fuel tank, Continental GT 650 is equipped with 12.5 litre fuel capacity tank.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is based on the modern classic roadster theme which is offered in 6 variants that varies in terms of shades. On the contrary, Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 takes inspiration from the café racers of 1950s and 1960s.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 measures 2122mm x 1165mm x 789mm. It has 13.7 litre fuel capacity, 202 kg kerb weight. While, Continental GT 650 gets dimensions - 2122mm x 1024mm x 744mm with 12.5 litre fuel capacity.

Leaked details revealed that Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 motorcycle comes in 6 exciting shades, wherein the Orange Crush is priced at Rs 2.34 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-of-the-line variant with Gutter & Dust Chrome costs at Rs 2.54 lakh (ex-showroom).

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 motorcycle prices for the Indian market are rumoured to be leaked ahead of launch. The motorcycle is likely to start from Rs 2.34 Lakh (ex-showroom). The Continental GT 650 is priced at Rs. 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

The wait for the Indian fans finally will come to an end with Royal Enfield launching its highly awaited 650 Twins in India today. The all-new Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 motorcycles were revealed globally at EICMA 2017 followed by India debut at Rider Mania 2017. Now, the company will be launching the motorcycles in India just ahead of Rider Mania 2018, which commences on November 16. Both Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 motorcycles come equipped with an all-new 648cc air-and oil-cooled parallel twin engine. The unit is capable of making 47.6 PS and 52Nm of power figures. Equipped on double cradle frame, the motorcycles packs 41mm telescopic forks upfront with 110mm travel whereas the rear section gets a twin coil shocks with 88mm of travel. In terms of dimensions, the motorcycle measures 2122mm in length, wheelbase of 1165mm, 789mm in height along with ground clearance of 174mm. The deliveries for the motorcycles are rumoured to commence by early next year. However, exact details will be revealed at the launch event. Moreover, Royal Enfield dealers have already started unofficial bookings for the motorcycles with upfront payment of Rs 5000.
