Ultraviolette UV Riding Academy: Know All About Eligibility, Courses, Schedule and More
Ultraviolette has launched a rider training academy in India, combining track and off-road programmes under a three-level certification structure. Open to electric and ICE motorcycle riders, the academy offers classroom and practical training. Its first Into the Wild session begins in Bengaluru on August 23, followed by Track Attack on September 27.
Electric motorcycle manufacturer Ultraviolette has announced the launch of a comprehensive rider training academy in India. The new initiative consolidates the company’s existing Track Attack and Into the Wild programmes under one unified platform, offering structured training and certification for both track and off-road riding disciplines.
The academy is designed to cater to a broad spectrum of motorcyclists, as it is not restricted to Ultraviolette owners. Riders using either electric or internal-combustion-engine (ICE) motorcycles are eligible to participate, with the manufacturer providing the training curriculum and professional instruction rather than the hardware itself. Progressive Training Structure and Certification
The academy operates on a progressive three-level framework, requiring riders to pass specific assessments before moving to advanced modules. Level 1 covers fundamental control and safety principles, while Level 2 introduces increased technical complexity. Level 3 is reserved for advanced techniques tailored to high-intensity track or off-road environments.
Each session combines classroom instruction with practical, hands-on training. Track Attack focuses on circuit essentials such as racing lines, braking points, cornering, and track etiquette. Into the Wild provides guidance on navigating loose terrain, obstacle management, and balance, with all instruction led by experienced trainers, including national champions.
Expanding Training Across Indian Racetracks
Ultraviolette intends to maintain a year-round calendar of events across various tracks and off-road locations nationwide. This commitment aims to develop consistent technical ability and safety awareness rather than offering isolated riding experiences. The manufacturer claims this initiative marks a global first for an electric two-wheeler brand.
