Aparajitha Ayodhya: Kangana Ranaut's Maiden Production Will Be Based on the Supreme Court's Ram Mandir Verdict
As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, the actress will now be producing a film based on the Ram Mandir verdict. The film titled Aparajitha Ayodhya will be the maiden film under Kangana's banner. As per reports, it is all set to roll out next year. The film will be based on the Ayodhya verdict.
A few days ago, we saw the first look of Kangana Ranaut from her upcoming film Thalaivi which is based on the life of former actress and famed late politician Jayalalitha. The actress is known to take on interesting projects and after making a mark with her performance in the period drama, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kangana is now also eyeing a key project as a producer. Last week, Kangana's sister and spokesperson Rangoli Chandel took to Twitter to announce Kanagana's production house which has been named as Manikarnika films. She tweeted saying that the actress will be making films on topics that people fear to discuss. Now, the news about her upcoming production is here. The film titled Aparajitha Ayodhya will be the maiden film under Kangana's banner. As per reports, it is all set to roll out next year. The film will be based on the Ayodhya verdict. On November 9, the Supreme Court announced its decision to and ordered 2.77 acres of disputed land in Ayodhya to a trust to be created by the government of India to build the Ram Mandir. An alternative 5 acres of land was granted to the Sunni Waqf Board to build a mosque.
Speaking about her upcoming project, Kangana told Mirror, "What makes Aparajitha Ayodhya different is that it is the the journey of the protagonist from a non-believer to a believer. And since, in a way, it reflects my personal journey, I decided it would be the apt subject for my first production."
The film's script will be penned by KV Vijayendra Prasad who famously wrote the Baahubali script. According to the actress, the film will scratch beyond the surface when it comes to the concepts of devotion. She also stated that the film's title prefix 'Aparajitha' stands for the spirit of believers as the nation remains 'undefeated' when it comes to the faith, the actress added in her interaction.
