Details of AR Ameen's Car Accident
The collision occurred around 3:30 AM on Monday when AR Ameen was travelling in his Porsche with a friend towards Guindy. The incident took place near the Olympia Tech Park signal, close to the Kathipara flyover in Chennai. According to reports, a cab, identified as a Rapido Wagon-R, entered the main road from a side road, leading to a collision with Ameen’s vehicle.
The impact caused damage to both cars. AR Ameen (born January 6, 2003) and his friend were rushed to Kauvery Hospital, where they received treatment for minor injuries and were subsequently discharged. A passenger from the cab also sustained injuries and was admitted to Kalaignar Centenary Super Speciality Hospital for medical attention, later being discharged as well. Fortunately, no life-threatening injuries were reported for any of those involved.
Following the accident, the Adyar Traffic Investigation Wing has initiated a probe into the circumstances surrounding the collision. Both vehicles involved have been seized as part of the ongoing investigation, and a case has been registered.

This incident marks another narrow escape for AR Ameen, who previously faced a terrifying situation in March 2023. At that time, during a song recording, chandeliers, lights, and other heavy objects suspended from a crane came crashing down on set. Ameen, who was performing at the spot, miraculously escaped unharmed, though he later described the experience as traumatising.
Beyond these brushes with danger, AR Ameen, who is 23 years old as of 2026, has steadily been carving out his own identity as a playback singer, following in his illustrious father's footsteps.
