Arjun Rampal and his wife Mehr Jesia had officially announced their separation on May 28, 2018 after several reports of claimed that their marriage was on the rocks. The couple ended their 21 year-marriage and on Tuesday, were granted a divorce by mutual consent at Bandra Family court. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Principal judge Shailaja Sawant granted the couple divorce under the Special Marriage Act, nearly six months after they approached the court to dissolve their marriage, by consent on April 30, 2019. Exclusive! Arjun moved out of their Bandra duplex last year and ever since has been living in a separate apartment. Later last year, it was revealed that Arjun is dating a popular South African model Gabriella Demetriades. The couple recently also welcomed their first child and have named their son named Arik.

Arjun and Mehr are parents to two daughters, Mahikaa and Myra. Previously, in an interview with a leading tabloid, Arjun had mentioned how important it was for him that his daughters accept and get along with his girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades. He said, "I must add that it was of prime importance that my daughters should accept her as a part of the family.
