The mortal remains of legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle arrived at her residence in Mumbai on Sunday, following her passing at the age of 92. The iconic vocalist, whose career spanned eight decades and more than 12,000 songs, breathed her last at Breach Candy Hospital on April 12, 2026, due to multi-organ failure. Bhosle had been admitted to the hospital on Saturday evening after experiencing cardiac and respiratory complications.
