In a clear statement, Juyal addressed the ongoing buzz, putting an end to the conjectures surrounding his character's portrayal as a younger villain opposite Shah Rukh Khan's persona or in conjunction with Abhishek Bachchan's confirmed antagonist role.

Speaking to Movie Talkies, Raghav Juyal directly confronted the rumours, stating, "Yeh biljul, sarasar jhoot bol rahe hai. Kyunki, aisa kuch nahi hai. It's a very different thing. It's a very different story and a very unique plot. Woh jab film dekhenge aap, tabhi aapko uska ilm hoga ki kya hai woh kya nahi (This is absolutely, completely false. Nothing like that is true. The actor hinted that both the narrative and his own look in the film would surprise audiences, emphasising director Siddharth Anand's distinctive approach to the project.

While Juyal refrained from divulging specific details about his role, his comments strongly suggest that King is poised to deliver an unexpected cinematic experience. This denial comes amidst earlier reports that suggested Juyal might portray the son of Jackie Shroff's character, locking horns with a younger version of Shah Rukh Khan's character.

Raghav Juyal also shared his "dream-level experience" of working with Shah Rukh Khan, recalling how he momentarily forgot his dialogues during their first scene together due to childhood memories of watching the superstar's films. Shah Rukh Khan reportedly offered Juyal a role in King after being impressed by his performance in the series The Ba*ds of Bollywood.
