Bollywood actor Girish Kumar, who made his debut in Prabhudeva's Ramaiya Vastavaiya, which was bankrolled by his father Kumar Taurani in 2013, is all set to become a father soon. Yes, you read that right. The actor, who got married to his longtime ladylove Krsna two years ago, is all set to step into parenthood club. It seems that good news is raining in our television and film fraternity like never before. Where some film and telly stars are getting hitched, there are some others who are embracing parenthood.
On Monday, Girish and Krsna had a baby shower. The couple recently went on a babymoon to Italy, Florence and Rome. Talking about it, the actor, in a statement to Mumbai Mirror, said, "It was a gathering of family and close friends with a cake and a few games like making a diaper out of tissue paper. I am looking forward to this new chapter in my life."
Speaking of embracing fatherhood, the actor told the daily that he has attended classes on 'taking care of the newborn'. He said, "I have attended classes on everything related to taking care of a baby. I have also seen my friends and cousins deal with their kids in a mature way."
Here's a picture from the baby shower that is surfacing on the internet. Take a look!

Girish tied the knot on February 11, 2016, but kept it a secret for almost a year as his career was in the initial stage and he did not want it to get affected by his relationship status. Talking about his hush-hush wedding, the actor had told Mumbai Mirror, "Krsna and I were childhood friends and schoolmates. We started dating in our teens and in 2007, realised this was serious and for keeps," further adding, "I wanted to keep my marriage hush-hush because I was still a newbie and did not want the fate of my films to be affected."
On the professional front, the actor, who made his debut in Bollywood with Ramaiya Vastavaiya, is yet to zero in on a good script to make his acting comeback. Currently, Girish is helping his father and producer Kumar Taurani with some music for his films, until he comes across the right script. Watch this space for further updates.
