In less than a month, Marvel is all set to release their all-new superhero film, Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson. The excitement is high surrounding this film and it is going to be a double celebration since the film releases on March 8, which is celebrated as International Women's Day. According to the latest reports, actress Brie Larson is the highest paid MCU star for her standalone film. Buzz is that the Room star has been paid $5 million for the film which is being made on a budget of approximately $150 million.

This is the highest the studio has paid any actor and it looks like Brie Larson may finally be putting a full-stop to the pay gap issue in Hollywood studios. This amount is more than what Robert Downey Jr drew for his first Iron Man film and also tops the amount that actor Chadwick Boseman was paid for the Black Panther film.  Apparently, actress Gal Gadot who starred as Wonder Woman in the DC film was paid only $300,000 for her debut in the DC universe. Captain Marvel: Will We See Brie Larson in Carol Danvers’ Infamous ‘Swimsuit’ Costume?
