Vice: This again is a biographical drama. The Adam McKay written and directed film is based on former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney. Actor, Christian Bale was seen in his shoes in this visual journey of him to become the most powerful Vice President in American history. The flick also stars Amy Adams, Steve Carell, Sam Rockwell, Alison Pill, Lily Rabe, Jesse Plemons, and Tyler Perry in the crucial roles. It has eight nominations at the 91st Academy Awards.

Bohemian Rhapsody: The film with the tremendous buzz is based on the events of the British rock band Queen. It portrays the journey of singer Freddie Mercury's life from his joining the band in 1970 to their Live Aid performance at Wembley Stadium in 1985. Rami Malek was seen as Mercury in this Bryan Singer directed biographical drama. It has five nominations at Oscars 2019, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Malek.

Roma: Written and directed by by Alfonso Cuarón, this flick is loosely based on the upbringing of Cuarón in Colonia Roma district of Mexico City. It also shows the life of a housekeeper who works in a middle-class family. The film stars Yalitza Aparicio and Marina de Tavira in the lead roles. The film has received a whopping 10 nominations at the 91st Academy Awards inclusive of Best Picture, Best Foreign Language Film, Best Director, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.
