Vijay Sethupathi’s Cameo in ‘Jailer 2’
According to a report by YouTube channel Valai Pechu, Vijay Sethupathi was allocated a two-day call sheet to shoot his portions for the sequel. The actor reportedly completed a one-day schedule in Chennai followed by a single-day shoot in Goa. His appearance in the final cut of the film is expected to run for approximately 15 minutes, though the production team has yet to release an official statement regarding the exact duration of his screen time.
Sethupathi had previously discussed his decision to join the project, explaining that while he generally avoids guest appearances to protect his focus as a lead actor, he agreed to the role out of admiration for Rajinikanth. "I did a cameo in Jailer 2 because I love Rajinikanth, sir," Sethupathi stated in an earlier interview. "To be with him, I get to learn a lot. The superstars survived in this industry for so many decades".
