Keerthy Suresh, who turned 27 today, made her acting debut as a child artist. Born to film producer-director Suresh Kumar and Tamil actress Menaka, Keerthy made her acting debut with her father’s production, a Malayalam film titled Pilots that released in 2000. Kuberan – The Malayalam film Kuberan starring Dileep and Samyuktha Varma in the lead, was a comedy drama directed by Sundar Das. Keerthy Suresh essayed the role of an adopted child in this film.

Geethaanjali – 11 years later, Keerthy Suresh made her debut as a lead actress in the Malayalam horror film Geethaanjali, directed by Priyadarshan. She played a dual role, which was a spin-off of the hit film Manichitrathazhu and a remake of the Thai film Alone.
