Many Tamil stars have exercised their democratic rights in the second phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2019. Leading Tollywood actors were spotted standing in queue at the polling booths to cast their vote. The gorgeous Shruti Haasan was seen standing in queue along with her father, actor-politician, Kamal Haasan. In fact post voting, the father-daughter duo even posed for the media and the actress shared a picture on Instagram and mentioned, “Vote for the change you want to see”. There are many celebrities who have urged their fans to cast vote like a responsible citizen. Shruti Haasan and Kamal Haasan arrived at the Alwarpet Corporation School in Chennai to cast their vote. According to reports, the two and other commoners had to wait for almost 30 minutes before the polling started at the booth. Apparently, the EVM machine had certain technical glitch and hence the delay in polling. Besides Shruti Haasan and Kamal Haasan, the other actors who were seen casting their votes include Rajinikanth, Suriya with wife Jyothika, Karthi with wife Ranjani, Vijay, Thala Ajith with wife Shalini, Meena and many others.
